About Us

Why Spartan?

Spartan has been developed with the principal goal of delivering elite-level care to all.  Too often, traditional physical therapy and performance fails to deliver the intended results. You rarely hear of a professional athlete’s career ending due to “failed rehab”. Sometimes, it is not as simple as “join a gym” or “continue with the prescribed exercise program”. If recovery and performance was as simple as following an exercise program, we would have millions of elite level athletes and have eradicated pain altogether. These professionals receive the highest quality care, consistent attention, and specific plans to help them return to their professions. We feel that every person is entitled to that level of elite level care. In order to bridge this disconnect and provide elite level care to all, Spartan was built with 4 simple principles in mind.

Specialist Care

In order to deliver on our promise of elite care, we carry post-doctoral level certifications in orthopedics, strength and conditioning, movement assessment, sports therapy, dry needling, manual therapy and performance. Learning is never done, especially in the fields of medicine, movement, and performance. We vow that we will never become complacent, continue to practice life-long learning, and remain up to date on the most current evidence in order to best assist you in your journey to a better you.

Individualized Plan

You are unique. A “cookie-cutter” plan is not sufficient in order for you to fully heal or perform at your absolute highest level. Each plan developed for our clients is directly tailored to YOUR specific goals. No two people are the same, so no two plans should be exactly the same. Everyone’s path and goals differ. We ensure that the number one factor affecting the plan we develop is YOUR GOALS. You are not a number or a statistic here, you matter, and Spartan is designed to be all about you.

Unmatched Attention

Many companies will claim”one-on-one” care, here at Spartan you will actually receive it. When we are with you, you are all we are focused on. Not only for the hands-on intervention but, just as importantly, for the exercise as well. We provide truly one-on-one care. We are constantly assessing you for correct form, on the lookout for compensations, and with hands-on cueing, will help you to learn the fundamentals perfectly, that way the strength and power will come easier. Rather than passing this essential duty off to a tech or someone less qualified, you will have an expert on movement and exercise constantly assessing your form and coaching you throughout the whole process. When you book a session with us, you are the only one there, you are our complete focus. The difference between a beginner and an expert? The expert has mastered the fundamentals. We will teach you to become an expert that way you can achieve all your goals.

Brought to You

The appeal of Spartan is that rehab and performance is brought to you. Feel more comfortable recovering or performing rehab in your home? Great, we will come to you. Want to achieve that collegiate scholarship in lacrosse? Let’s meet on a field and run drills there instead of inside a clinic. The idea of Spartan is that rather than do our best in a busy clinic to replicate what we will be asking you to do at your home or on the field, let’s just meet at the intended area and work there. Our goal is to bring elite level care to the privacy and comfort of your own home, or whatever location you prefer. If you have an idea, let us know! Spartan is here to provide the flexibility to allow us to work together in the best possible setting to assist you in achieving your goals.
