Physical Therapy in Columbia and Baltimore, MD | Spartan Rehab and Performance

Who We Help

Physical Therapy

Tired of going to a busy clinic, warming up on a stationary bike, and then seeing the PT for only 15-20 minutes? Here at Spartan, you get a full hour, if not more, of one-on-one care from a PT that has specialized in the treatment of orthopedics and sports conditions. You will receive hands-on treatment from someone with advanced post-doctoral training followed by an exercise program that is being monitored by that same person, not a technician or an aid.

Sports and Performance

There are so many choices when it comes to elite-athlete development. Unfortunately, many have the theoretical knowledge but lack the practical background. Here at Spartan, you will be trained by someone who has both. Dr. Marks is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Champion Performance Specialist. He also has first hand experience playing college athletics at a high level. He has trained both professional and collegiate athletes throughout his career. Your program is individualized to you blending strength, conditioning, and sport-specific skills into one comprehensive program to help you achieve the highest level of performance at your specific sport.

Adult Fitness and Personal Training

Want to achieve the best version of you, but don’t know where to start or don’t feel comfortable diving into the gym scene? At Spartan, we are in a unique position to aid anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle and incorporate movement into their routine. We bring strength training experience, but with our background in physical therapy, we can often bridge the gap from pain or sedentary lifestyle to whatever your fitness goals may be. With 1-on-1 coaching and programming, we can facilitate any fitness goal in a way that will prevent injury and make success sustainable.

Already have a typical fitness regiment? That’s great! Let us perform an injury risk screening and identify possible areas to focus on to keep you training at that level. We can provide corrective exercise, mobility workouts or programming changes that will keep you active for longer with less risk of injury.
